I used to have a Pastry Magazine Subscription, with that subscription came the Frozen Desserts magazine (for free). I thought about saving the covers but in the end I decided it made more sense to recycle them!

I gave a large bag of bags to my mother to bring to work, most of them were taken. The rest will be donated.

Day 25 of the Phase

The smarties were given as a gift! I'm all set with Betsey Johnson luggage tags. I might post them on ebay but in the end they will probably be donated.

Day 24 of the phase

The bags are being donated. The bottle recycled and the "shot glasses" tossed because i'm afraid of bugs.

Day 23 of the phase

Before the days of DVRs, I was obsessed with VCRs and had tons of videos tapes. Its really time consuming but I'm going thru each tape and transfering some portions to dvd and then I black out the tape and toss them!!

I think I'm making some progress.

Day 22 of the phase

A day late

The bag, air freshener and candle will be donated. The light up thingy was given to to my niece and nephew and the lip gloss will be thrown out.

Day 21 of the Phase

How many nail clippers does one person really need?!? I getting rid of two of these. The bottle will be donated with clothing. The bath products will be in a larger giveaway (hopefully to an organization) that I am preparing in the next couple of weeks.

Day 20 of the Phase

Winter gear. I'm getting rid of some doofy hats. I think it would be selfish of me not to share them!

I liked free stuff. Here are some scarves that I have gotten at an exercise event. (Same event that I got the free magazine subscription)

Dry cleaning hangers!! The good thing about these is that you can recycle them back to the cleaners!! I think that's pretty darn cool and yeah for recycling!!

Candle Time

I went through a candle phase. Here are 4 of them and the make up bag from YEARS ago. 3 out of the 4 will be donated.

I found a bag with tons of old make up. I tossed it all. Feels very good to get rid of stuff!

Extra Phase

I am known to give a whole bunch of little things for birthdays and holidays. So I've been collecting a bunch of stuff for PrettyBird and I FINALLY gave it to her. The picture includes cookies, her birthday gift, and then a purple hodge podge bag of stuff.

Day 5 of the phase - more nail polish

Here's some more nail polish. Please note that anything that I post on here is up for grabs, if i'm not recycling it. So if you want it, it's yours!!!

Day 4 of the phase - the week of nail polish

Here's the first installment of the nail polish phase out. I've been wearing nail polish since I was about 7 or 8, which is over two decades and then some. Nail polish lasts a loooong time so I usually keep it all until it gets clumpy or dried out. So I went thru all my colors and here are the first five and the rest of the week will be the rest.
Note: I still have have a lot of colors but I did decrease my collection by at least half!

Still going through all the magazines. Here are some more that I'm giving to my mother's office.

The upcoming week will involve phasing out nail polish and recycling plastic personal care bottles.

I have three magazine subscriptions. Entertainment Weekly (a gift), Self (extra from a fitness event) and then Teen Vogue (still have no clue how or why I get this magazine and it's going on the 2nd year, I think I get it until June 2010)

I am giving these to my mother's office for others to enjoy the entertainment, fitness, and teen vogueness.

Day 1 of the phase

The first phase (slightly late) consists of 5 bags/packages of garbage from the holiday season. I spend all of my free time thinking of things to phase out so I won't run out of items.
